After a long week of drama and hard work, the day for UVSA's winter formal FINALLY came!! I spent the morning / afternoon doing some last minute shopping with Duc and Khanh. When I got home, it was time to get ready! It took Tam, Stacy, and I like 2 hours to get ready! Holy moly. All in all, it was great spending that time getting ready with the intern girls :) People started to head over to my place around 5-5:30. The girls were still getting ready (hey what did you expect!) while all the boys were waiting outside. It was like prom all over again, except with twice as many Vietnamese people hovering the outside area of my apartment haha.
Got there. Took a bajillion photos (not with my camera since it sucks D: ). Had something to eat and then we performed!!!!! It was an adrenaline rush but I loved every second of it! I want to do it again :( Afterwards, we were finally able to eat and enjoy one another's company! Before we did the dancing, Brian and I along with a couple of other friends went outside to the parking lot for some milk and cookies :) Then we danced the night awayyyyyy~
The dance was the best part - getting crazy and letting loose with all of my good friends was the best feeling ever. It was as though I was just shaking off all the shit that happened during the week within those few hours. My feet are in pain, my throat is all scratchy, and my hair is nappy as hell - but I'd do it all over again if I could <3
